The Idaho Association of Public Accountants has announced the selection of Carolyn Bolton of Twin Falls as its new executive director effective June 1.

Bolton fills the vacancy created by the retirement of IAPA’s previous executive director, Barb Neiwert. With the transition in executive staff, IAPA’s main offices have relocated to Twin Falls from Bellevue.

“We are very pleased to announce this appointment,” Reisse Perin, CPA and IAPA board president said. “Carolyn will bring leadership and creativity to the IAPA’s operations and a deep sense of commitment to our membership state-wide. She has served nonprofits at all program, fundraising, executive and leadership levels, and has a breadth of perspective and experience.”

With more than 25 years’ experience in nonprofit management, Bolton is a native of Southern Idaho and has worked with organizations and communities across Oregon and Washington. She graduated with honors from Corban University & Graduate School in Salem, Oregon and earned certification as a mediator from The Institute of Conflict Management in Portland.
